A recently collected statistical data has revealed that more that 20 million individuals of America are suffering from diabetes. Of those 20 million 95% are the case of blood sugar diabetes type 2. The most alarming fact is that if this data is compared with the one collected in 1988, then a wide fluctuation can be seen in the average age of the individuals. Average age has been now dropped from 46 years which was previously 52 years.
Another undesirable fact about diabetes is that this ailment is not only limited to the age of the individuals alone. Now the youngsters and teen the teenagers are at an increased risk towards developing the disease. The scope of the disease has been greatly increased. Now it has been proved that people of all gender are equally susceptible of developing the disease.
